Becoming a driving instructor involves three key components. Firstly, passing the theory test is essential. What are Handley Driving School offering?
Part 1 - Theory test - we will provide the training resources to aid your learning to complete this to the best of your ability.
​Part 2 - 10 hours of 1-1 tuition towards your Part 2 Driving Test focusing on improving your driving ability
​Part 3 - 40 hours of 1-1 training towards the part 3 test which is focused on your instructional ability, you can then apply for your PDI badge and start work on the road, with real pupils, earning a real wage.

This cost covers all the training and resources for parts 1 - 3.

Part 1 - Theory test - £81
​Part 2 - Driving Test - £111
If you’ve passed ADI part 2 you have the option to apply for a 6 month trainee licence to get experience teaching students whilst earning - £140
